Paintings

Gallery wall of work shown at Bouldin Creek Cafe.

In my painting process, I start with sourcing wood bases from thrift stores and creative reuse centers. Many of them just need a little sanding and priming to be usable, and I get to source cheaper materials while keeping them out of the landfill. Similarly, many of the cut out shapes I use are made from wood I find in the scrap bin while lasercutting at MakeATX. This keeps my work fairly sustainable. The rest of the process is layers of acrylic paint applied with mostly very small brushes.
